Tire blew out at normal operating speed with no load in vehicle. Tire failure involved complete separation of tread and sidewall. Vehicle has been used as a passenger vehicle and never has been loaded as a work truck. In view of recent firestone problems, I thought this info might be useful. Tires were replaced do to cracking around the circumference of the tire. They were prorated at 60%. This sounds like the same problem firestone is having with other tires. (tiresize: 245r7516)( dot number: tire size: 245r7516 ).
