The contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet K1500. While driving 35 mph. The air bags deployed without warrant. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection. An independent technician (frank taylor)was sent from the dealer to inspect the vehicle. The technician sent a report to general motors. General motors contacted him and informed him that the module under the seat had developed moisture . He was ineligible for a free remedy. The failure mileage was 192,800.
