general problems of the 1999 Chevrolet K1500

The consumer states that there is something wrong with the firestone wilderness at 265/75r16 tires on the vehicle, the manufacturer is not responding.

At about 25,000 miles, I noticed unusual tire wear. It looks as if someone took a chisel and chipped off pieces of tread. Front and rear tires. The pieces missing range in size from 1/8" - 1/2" dia. The tires have been rotated per manufacturer specs. Properly inflated at 44 psi cold. Driven on paved surfaces, and at moderate speeds. I went to the firestone at 5499 n. High st. , worthington OH 43085, and the employee, after treating me like a moron, informed me that the recall only was for certain 15" tires. He then insisted that it was normal tire wear. I strongly dissagree, and ask that my tires be included in the recall. I do not feel safe driving my truck. How can I send you a photo, or mold to show you why I am concerned? please respond.
