One problem related to anti-lock brakes fail has been reported for the 2000 Chevrolet K1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The anti-lock brakes system failed do to corrosion, do to the salt usage for snow & ice control in the state of minnesota. They would activate at low speeds, and by the time I got the dealer to get it repaired I almost hit a building and a vehicle couldn't stop in time. The parts where removed, cleaned, conditioned and put back on the vehicle. Campaign number 05v379000.
