Two problems related to other fuel system fuel gauge have been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet K1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The steering shaft mid-joint is loose and is making a knocking sound, the fuel gauge is moving from full to empty while traveling down the highway, the power windows are losing power, when you power up the windows the headlights dim and the windows go up so slow.
: the contact stated while driving 75mph on the interstate, the fuel gauge indicator decreased and elevated without warning. The vehicle was not inspected. The manufacturer was not contacted.
