- the contact owns a 1998 Chevrolet K1500 and stated that the fuel gauge did not work properly. The fuel gauge was giving false readings of how much fuel there was the fuel tank. The contact experienced this problem since the vehicle had an odometer reading of 90,000 miles. The contact has not taken the vehicle to a repair facility as of yet. The current miileage was 125000.

The steering shaft mid-joint is loose and is making a knocking sound, the fuel gauge is moving from full to empty while traveling down the highway, the power windows are losing power, when you power up the windows the headlights dim and the windows go up so slow.

Tail gate straps broke. Fuel gauge is inconsistent and gm has to know about it because there are forums all over the web stating the same things I am. I think these are ridiculous problems that gm is not facing up to.
