Door problems of the 1996 Chevrolet Lumina

Automatic sliding side door releases on its own . Child was caught up in the door. The dealer has repaired the door , and the problem has occurred again.

2 Door problem

Sliding door is jammed . Vehicle has been in the shop seven to eight times for repairs. Whiledoor might appear as if it is closing, but, in reality, door will just open by itself at any time. Dealer can't determine the problem.

3 Door problem

Automatic door locks failed after collision, consumer trapped inside.

4 Door problem

Failure Date: 08/01/1996

Automatic door lock failed.

5 Door problem

The owner "van has danger" due to the drivers' side door is not able to open from the inside without repeated excessive force or from the outside. Please describe details. Mr.

Automatic sliding door does not engage. When shut manually the door ajar light is still on. Owner has taken to dealer over seven times. Problem reoccurs.
