One problem related to warning light on has been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Lumina. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag warning light remains illuminated, indicating a malfunction within the system. Problem occurs within the air bag module. This module is located under the front of passenger's seat closer to back of car. Module shorted out when a small drink fell to the floor. This created a hazard to passenger's air bag.
