One problem related to rear suspension axle has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Malibu. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Rear suspension - bolt holding lower control arm for rear tire. Either unscrewed itself or broke. Vehicle began to shake violently and was difficult to control. Any other driver may have not been able to handle vehicle causing a serious accident with injuries or even death.
