Power seat weld and frame broke electrical problem check engine light comes on nothing wrong mirror power adjusting does not work.

My vehicle has about 62,000 miles and the center rear brakes light just inside the rear window is not working. It seems very dim. Failed state safety inspection. Not an accident.

My teenage son was driving in the rain when his Malibu gave engine power reduced, service traction, service esc, and esc off warnings. Car was barely drivable. This is a safety issue since it happens suddenly and increase the chances of a collision with other vehicles. Code reader showed the p2138 dtc. The headliner above the driver side door was also wet. This appears to be coming from the sun roof. I believe that this leakage is causing electrical connection issues somewhere else in the car that is causing the above mentioned warnings and performance issues. According the the chevy website, there are no recalls applicable to this car based on its VIN.

Passenger side low beam head light keeps going out ever other month.

Got a 2011 chevy Malibu from my father in law. Car only has 44500 miles on it. So of course it's out of warranty. Notice that the rear defroster was not working, so did some research online and found multiple accounts of people with same issue with melted fuses in fuse box in truck and fuse box melting also. Why is chevy not telling people about or offering a fix or recall. It's a fire hazard.

My vehicle is experiencing all symptoms related to NHTSA campaign number: 14v252000 and there is no active recall for my VIN. That problem his causing high voltage which keeps causing electrical issues like burning cables to the headlights and not getting power to multiple interior equipment such as the ipc which stops working while driving and I am no longer able to my speed and other information. I also get a engine power reduced error from a bad connected from the app to the bcm, code p1238.

I've had this happen a few times, when I park my car shut off engine pull keys out open door the ignition key keeps ringing like I left my keys in the ignition but I didn't. I get out of the car and close the door and it will stop after a while.

Multiple front head light replacement in short period of time within 3 to 4 months replaced 3 times. Noticed warping of faceplate by audio equipment so had to replace that. Then came back from vacation and drove my car for about 20 minutes, parked I went inside store and my daughter was in the car when she said it jumped and then turned off. When I turned it on it said "engine power reduced" "service traction" "service esc" I drove it to get home. Next morning it was fine to get to work short distance, on way home in hotter time of day (live in arizona) it did it again. Only 20 miles an hour maxium and gulping gasoline. I was in my car with my 13 year old and it was dangerous as we were driving and all of a sudden we were reduced to 20 mph or less and were almost rear-ended various times, caught mid transition from yellow to red light while making left turn. Very scary. Mechanic drove it and said after only 10 to 20 minutes of driving it did the same thing. Mechanic he ran tests and found relay fuse box issue. Tried to order and was told it was on "national back-order" because this was the same problem many of my vehicle year make and model were experiencing. I had to get rental for 20 days which cost in excess of $500 and wait for part. Pay for parts $223 and labor. These expenses cause incredible financial hardship and stress. Recepts did not go through and screen shots of panel because of size, please reach out so I can provide.

The metal on side of seat broke causing the seat not to be able to adjust. Also, electrical problems lighter had shortage and speaker sounds increase and decrease with being adjusted, and the light for the tire pressure remain on even when the tires has sufficient air. I didn't notice an exact time the defect happen. I just notice the affects while driving.

My vehicle has approx. 91,500 miles. Upon starting the car recently, an error appeared saying "service traction" and "engine power reduced. " the vehicle could not go above 35 mph and the traction control system was disabled. Upon inspection by the dealership, they discovered the sunroof drain tubes had shrunk and water had accumulated in the floorboard, eventually leading to corrosion. I have researched this issue and found several other drivers reporting issues with the drain tubes becoming disconnected and causing leaks. I have also found several instances where drivers lost engine power on the highway. If this were to happen, it could easily cause a crash.

Neither front door electric locks will unlock when car is stopped. Operator and passenger must physically turn around and unlock the door to get out of car. Everything electrical in the car (switches, radio, gauges, locks, windows) has malfunctioned at one point in time, even when the car had as low as 40,000 miles on it, but Chevrolet has never taken any responsibility for any of it.

I bought my 2011 chevy Malibu in March of 2017. Only put 30k miles and it's April of 2020. My car won't crank up sometimes or when I'm idle, it'll start to shake and I haven't drove my car in a week but when I put the key in and try to turn it, nothing comes on. No lights or anything.

The esc lights, traction control lights and abs lights are on. Took it to the dealership in January and they �fixed� it by replacing the hub assembly. Worked ok for a month. Lights are back on as well as randomly while driving the speedometer, gas gauge, temp gauge, and rpm's will drop to 0 then back to normal and this will continue for the a whole trip. Then the next day or few days it will be fine then do it again. All the lights are on continuously.

While driving the check traction light comes on dash and the brake lights up red while driving without the brake applied.

The issue is concerning headlights on the chevy Malibu. I have had to have the headlights replaced numerous times only to have them burn out within days/weeks. According to the mechanic the fault lies with the design. The light gets hot enough to burn out the harness. There is nothing that can be done except to continue to replace the bulb/harness which requires removal of the end front bumper which only adds to the expense. The internet is full of complaints of this issue. You never know when the light will go out which has caused us to be pulled over several times by the police and given warnings.

I have gotten my low beam headlights changed on both sides twice, costing me $150 each time due to having to remove the bumper, and they keep going out!!! I work at night in an area heavily populated with deer, among other issues with just needing to have my headlights working regularly. I don't have money to keep replacing them! and I just got it in October.

Numerous dash lights randomly come on service esc service traction control engine power reduced engine power reduced followed by engine disabled . At that point the engine dies and you are unexpectedly faced with the surprised horror of being at a roll un able to power out of the way of traffic . And at the mercy of the exact location of all these things suddenly happening at random all the warnings are quick so quick u have no time to pull over befor you are at a dead roll . Today my mom n me as well as my girlfriend were all most killed by a semi truck carrying hot asphalt . I couldnt imagine having to be smashed to death with no chance to react and to top it off possibly even burned to death crushed all while haveing to hear my mothers screams in my last moments of life. Please look into this problem I've researched online and ive found many forms where ppl arehaveibg simpler issue. The whole smashed burned by hot asphalt senerio was only a flash of images I imagined but the five foot of space between the truck that fact all most side swiped us today is and was fact that causesd this horrible vision due to the defective engineering in some desine of the car she bought only days ago from hwy 59 motors car lot . The head lights in my vehicle do not work at all. I have to use the brights to see anything at night. The heat works when it wants too and when I bump into a small lump on the street it turns off. The wheel barrier is bad on my right tire.

The front passenger headlights low beam keeps going out I have changed the socket 2 times and changed the wire harness 1 time and it's only the low beam burning out on repeat like every other month I change it and try fixing it with new sockets or lights and it keeps burning out I think this has to be an electrical issue from manufacturer because many people are experiencing the same issue on the passenger side headlight low beam please can we get this recalled and fixed please.

My car will display the service esc/tcs light and then the engine feels like my car is going to die for no reason. There is no reason for this, normally happens when road conditions are excellent. I usually have to pull off the road and turn my car off and restart engine, then car runs like new again.

Service esc light came on and disabled my engine twice! 1 time on February 14,2019 which I was told it was the throttle body got that replaces in March. Come June samething happened service esc engine disabled and we had to be towed off of the expressway in June of 2019. After taking the car to the mechanic to get it serviced for the same issue again I was told that the body control module has a shortage in it and fuses in my fuse box had melted to the fuse box and caused a shortage ! the car stopping on the expressway could have killed me and my mom!!!.

Every year had to get my connector replaced because my light bulb keeps going out. Happening for the past 3 years.

Drivers side low beam headlight keeps going out, replaced it several times only to realize it's not the bulb itself.

While driving and stationary the inside lights blinks, the power steering cane on twice and I have my seatbelt on the light indicator comes on while the it's connected.

My vehicle is at an auto shop been there for a week and a half to repair the clunking noise in the steering column but the motor and module for the electric steering assist is seizing up which would be dangerous to turn in traffic. I already spent enough time and money on parts and labor. This is nothing I have done to the car only had for a year. I need your help! this should be a recall issue! or send me a new motor and module for this car please. You guys can at least do that. I love the car but this is a problem. 2. 4l electric assist. The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated while driving 30 mph, the air bag warning light was illuminated. The contact also stated that later in 2020, the electronic stability control (esc) and low traction warning lights were illuminated. The contact took the vehicle to an independent mechanic, where she was informed that both front rotating assemblies needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure persisted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. A dealer was not contacted. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 19v019000 (air bags) and 14v252000 (electrical system, exterior lighting, vehicle speed control, electronic stability control) however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 88,000.

3rd time passanger headlight has gone out in the last year. Along with the previous issues I reported.

Lights on panal come on go off when I stop the car and turn back on. I was driving maybe 30-35 mph on city street going straight. No we rain, pot holes or speed bumps.

My girlfriend was driving my car home from the doctors and all of a sudden the power steering went out. It cause her to hit the curb and possibly do more damage. She was only doing 30 mph on a busy street. I have a date with a dealership on the 27th of March 2019 to wait for the verdict of what there going to say. I have read alot of the post on here and have seen that it is a common problem. I also have a problem with my headlights going out I have changed them several times with different brands and they continue to go out. I have to run with my high beams on because the lights keeps burning out. This is cause and safety issue and could involve points on my license if pulled over. This is critical since I'm a cdl driver. The steering could cause death if traveling at a higher speed. Gm knows about the problem and if public isn't notified that it's faulty could also involve a lawsuit.

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu. While driving approximately 40 mph, the traction control system warning indicator illuminated and the steering wheel became very difficult to turn. The contact stated that the failure began approximately a year ago and was worsening. The vehicle was taken to four different independent mechanics, but none of them could resolve the failure. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The approximate failure mileage was 119,000.

Car continues to go into reduced engine power and will not drive/run longer than five minutes. I have already had all recalls fixed on the vehicle including the one that supposedly fixed this problem.

I was driving down troy Ave in illinios when my car all of a sudden lost power and said engine reduce and and steering wheel got stiff. I went all the way from 60 to 20 mph and almost crash and got hit from behind. I have had this problem non stop after fix after fix. But nobody seems to know the problem. Then my head light go in and out on the right side ever since I had it fixed over and over.

Ecs light, check engine light came on, reduced engine power, abs light, code throws map sensor error. Happens after vehicle go through the carwash or get slush and moisture from the road. Map sensor connector seems to be causing the electrical issue. Very dangerous going down the road, happened suddenly while not expecting it.
