Car Stall problems of the 2018 Chevrolet Malibu

When driving my 2018 chevy Malibu it stalls out while I'm driving reducing my speed to 20 mph when I�am on the freeway. As I continue to drive home I seen a notification that said power reduce system it happens very often and as a result of the stalling I was rear ended from the rear and it is very dangerous for me to continue driving this car.

The engine light keeps coming on and says engine power reduce. I had a recall to NHTSA done, but the same problem, and vehicle stalls like its shutting off or won't pick up speed.

Tl- the contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the ecm(engine control module) would malfunction and would flash random,incorrect warning lights. The contact also stated that the vehicle would stall while traveling at various speeds. The contact took the vehicle to independent mechanic where they performed an electric system upgrade; however, the failure continued. The contact stated that he had contacted another independent mechanic that informed him that there was a recall on his vehicle. The contact called a dealer clark Chevrolet 801 w business 83, mcallen, TX 78501 956-307-6557 where he informed them that there was a recall on his vehicle. He then took the vehicle to the dealer to be serviced. Once the vehicle was in the possession of the dealer, he was initially informed that there were no remedies for the recall and to pick up his vehicle, he refused to pick up the vehicle. The contact informed the manufacturer of the failure and informed him that they would look into the matter. He was also informed that a representative would call him back to offer assistance. Later that day, the contact was informed by a dealer representative that the vehicle had been repaired. The contact had not taken possession of the vehicle due to the fact that he was initially informed that there was no remedy for the recall. The failure mileage was 39,000. Jo.

Tl the contact owns a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu. The contact stated that the vehicle would vibrate and shake each time after being refueled. When the contact attempted to restart the vehicle, it stalled. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to coggin Chevrolet (10880 philips hwy, jacksonville, FL 32256, (904) 342-6447) where it was diagnosed, but no failure code was found. A week later, the vehicle was taken to beaver Chevrolet (3494 philips hwy, jacksonville, FL 32207, (904) 398-3036) where it was diagnosed that the purge valve and the charcoal canister needed to be placed. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the same dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer contacted the manufacturer and informed them that a failure code could not be found. The manufacturer provided a case number. The approximate failure mileage was 39,000.

Car will lose power when driving. I was turning left crossing traffic and it lost power. Car would not accelerate for 3 seconds essentially it felt like the car stalled even though it was still running. I have had this happen 3 other times as well.

The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and provided a case number: 9-5537893606. The failure mileage was approximately 2,141. Aw.
