Tl- the contact owned a 2001 Monte Carlo. The contact stated that after starting the car in the garage to warm it up, the contact heard an abnormal popping noise coming from the hood of the vehicle. The contact stated that the key was removed from the ignition and the contact went back in the home to make a phone call, when the contact got back to the garage, fire and smoke was coming from under the hood of the vehicle. The contact stated that the fire department extinguished the fire. The contact stated that no injuries were sustained as a part of the fire. The contact also stated that damage was done to the garage of the contacts home as a result of the fire.
