Passenger seat belt comes unbuckled for no reason. It also wont lock all the way when you plug it in. Release button some times stays in when you push it to take the seat belt off. Scared to ride in passenger seat because the seat belt does not work properly. No restraint nothing. Riding 45-50 mph in passenger seat belt just unplugged all by it self would not plug back in because the button stays down. I had to hit it with a flsh light to get it to release.

Driver's side seatbelt retractor does not retract the seatbelt properly. Once I park the car and release the seatbelt, I manually have to pull the seatbelt up to the retractor. Otherwise, the seatbelt will just hang there.

After I contacted the dealer, the appointment was made to repair all recall issues. Received notification that all parts were at the dealership. Once I arrived at the dealer, was told it would be a three hour wait. Drove approx. 100 miles to dealer (bill gatton Chevrolet-Cadillac). One recall issue was resolved, resulting in another appointment to be made when other parts arrived. No precautions were made to ensure vehicle protected against service department injury to vehicle, ie, no paper mats placed in car, dirt inside car, and keys left in the vehicle on the dealer lot. This vehicle has been maintained in a pristine condition, (51,000 actual miles). Has never been driven on salt or under any bad weather conditions. The dealer even commented that the vehicle appeared to be brand new. I would welcome a customer satisfaction survey for this dealership.

Seat belts on both driver & passenger seats do not retract properly. If belts are not manually pulled in they hang loosely. Also on several occasions, belts will be very tight when wearing (across chest). If you try to move forward you are unable. The initial problem with seat belts not retracting started happening occasionally about 2 yrs ago but now happens all the time. It is extremely frustrating to not have the seat belt work properly and to have to manually pull seatbelt in. I have been searching various websites to see if chevy has done any recalls on this problem & haven't seen anything. I feel this is a safety problem since state law requires us to always wear seatbelts when driving.
Please be advised this car was in a front end collision, seat belts were replaced passenger seatbelt seems to hang up, locks without notice. Makes it very uncomfortable as it keeps getting tighter with the slightest movement by passenger.
Seat belts, driver side. The belt would be locked tight when I tried to put it on, it could not be moved,, I drove to bob schuck Chevrolet in new ulm mn and told them what was wrong and a mechanic came out and pulled really hard on it,, finally it loosened up, at that time it was not in the loop on the head rest, that is the first time it happened. The second time it happened, it was through the loop, I did the same the thing the mechanic did the first time it happened and the loop busted clean off. I took it to the same dealer and told them about it and he ordered a new loop for it. I feel very strongly that this is a defective seat belt. I wrote the dealer telling him that I don't feel that I should have to pay for something that is defective in the first place, and he wrote stating that if I didn't pay the $23. 00 that he would put a lien on my car. What a flippen joke!!!!!!!!! please respond. I would love to hear from anyone that has had problems with any gm product. My next car will be foreign!!!!!!!anyone can email me pertaing to gm products at ziggy@sleepyeyetel. Net.
