One problem related to brake light has been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Both taillight inserts, the piece that holds the bulbs in taillight lens went bad within a 1 month period. This caused me to have no taillights or blinkers. Each piece costs over $50. This is a defective design as 3 other people I know have had the same problem.
