Three problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While making a turn vehicle will stall ,and will be hard for vehicle to start back up. Dealer notified.
Ongoing problem with vehicle hesitating / stalling at a stop position. When applying the accelerator pedal carburetor flooded. Vehicle been inspected/repairs on two occasions, and been to two different dealers, and problem still reoccurring.
On-going / intermittent problem with vehicle stalling while driving, this condition happens between 30-70 mph. Somtimes vehicle would not restart. Been in/out of dealer shop on five occasions and a total 45 days, and dealer is still unable to resolve the problem. Can NHTSA provide further details in this matter.
