Three problems related to exterior rearview mirror have been reported for the 1998 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The power mirror control switch on the driver side shortage out, which rendered the exterior mirrors from operating. The consumer was unable to adjust the mirrors for proper side visibility. Please provide any further information.
Consumer states that drivers side mirror caught on fire.
The dealership refused to install a fused jumper harness as stated in the rearview mirror switch recall 03v093000, because the switch was defective.
