One problem related to hatchback/liftgate hinge has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear hatchback window will not close tightly. This would allow water to leak into the rear window of the vehicle. Dealership was notified, but did not resolve the problem.
