One problem related to transmission not go into gear has been reported for the 2001 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While driving the vehicle it failed to shift gears. Consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and pulled over. Vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the cable assembly needed to be replaced, and replaced it. Consumer still having trouble with transmission.
