One problem related to rearview mirror has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I have had three mirrors installed on the truck under warranty and having the same problem with all three mirrors, when I drive on the interstate to work every day the mirror vibrates so bad I cant see anything out of the mirror and have had several close calls merging into traffic I have had the truck to 2 Chevrolet dealers for this problem and they say there is no fix for this. I called gm customer care and have a file number on the case but they told me there was no fix also and offered me 2 free oil changes to resolve this problem I declined there offer but do not no what I should do at this point.
