Door Latch problems of the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado

Two problems related to door latch have been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Door Latch problem

Failure Date: 04/25/2006

: the contact stated the rear passenger door fails to close and will not automatically lock. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, upon inspection the door latch failed. The manufacturer has not been alerted.

2 Door Latch problem

Failure Date: 12/08/2004

Passenger side electric window when rolling down realeases door latch and door swings open when parked.
