Three problems related to headlights have been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer states that he has a brand new vehicle with malfunctioning headlights. He states that the head lamps bulbs are so dim that you cannot see in front of you at night. He said the light bulb do not spread so that you can see before you reach the area you are approaching. Please help, because this is a hazard, not being able to see where you are going at night.
Headlights do not light well due to condensation, especially in the rain and at night. This decreases the visibility on the road.
Vehicle has bad lights, making the view on the road at night very difficult. Anytime that the high beams were turned the other lights on the vehicle turned off. The consumer stated that the head lights have shadows in them. The vertical and horizontal on both high and low beam share the same screw for adjustmen. Along the sides of the vehicles there are shadows that make it difficult to drive in certain areas at night.
