One problem related to sway bar has been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer stated that the sway bar mounting bracket broke, causing the frame and mounting bar to come off. The consumer had the vehicle towed to the dealer, and it was repaired under warranty. The front sway bar mountain bracket broke off at the weld and caused abnormal "roll" control and hard steering.
