The contact owns a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado. The contact stated that the heater motor operated constantly, even while the vehicle was shut off, causing the vehicle to lose power. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified, but denied any assistance with repairs. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and current mileages were 116,000.
Sudden failure of heater fan. No blower speeds. Melted wiring under dash. Service bulletin issued by chevy but no recall ? this is a fire waiting to happen.
