Automatic Transmission problems of the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado

Two problems related to automatic transmission have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 02/29/2008

Hesitation on acceleration. While merging onto an interstate highway pressed the accelerator to rapidly increase speed but the vehicle hesitated causing me to have to continue down the shoulder and actually stop to avoid a stalled vehicle on the shoulder. I have taken my vehicle to two different dealers to investigate the hesitation on acceleration both have stated that this is normal operation for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. Although I didn't have an accident with this particular incident I have noticed this hesitation during normal day to day driving. This is a safety issue.

2 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 01/10/2006

Transmission line leaking badly.
