Two problems related to structure have been reported for the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Drivers side door caught on fire while the vehicle was parked and running. Burned wire and smoke evident.
Spare tire carrier cable on 2007 Silverado rusted through causing the spare tire and carrier assembly to drop onto road while traveling. This carrier had previously been replaced under warranty approximately two years ago.
