Air Bag Not Deploy problems of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado

2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Consumer stated that during an automiobile accident the airbags did not deploy. The consumer stated due to the airbags not deploying, the drivers head struck the steering wheel. The driver was knocked unconscious and sustained a contusion and brusing on the forehead. The vehicle had front-end damage and the frame was bent. The consumer was unsure if the airbag recall repair was completed. The consumer requested to be reimbursed for the vehicles repairs, rental car, insurance deductible and other damages.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving at approximately 70 mph, the vehicle struck a deer on the highway. The front and rear air bags failed to deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
