2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Consumer stated that during an automiobile accident the airbags did not deploy. The consumer stated due to the airbags not deploying, the drivers head struck the steering wheel. The driver was knocked unconscious and sustained a contusion and brusing on the forehead. The vehicle had front-end damage and the frame was bent. The consumer was unsure if the airbag recall repair was completed. The consumer requested to be reimbursed for the vehicles repairs, rental car, insurance deductible and other damages.
The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. While driving at approximately 70 mph, the vehicle struck a deer on the highway. The front and rear air bags failed to deploy. There were no injuries and a police report was not filed. The vehicle was taken to a dealer, but was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000.
Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, he reached over to turn the heat off and the vehicle went off the road, down a hill and hit a ditch. The vehicle continued on until it crashed into a cable that was connected to a telephone pole. The telephone pole broke in half. The seat belt failed to hold the contact in place and the air bags failed to deploy. The contact sustained injuries to his back, knee and hip that required medical attention.
