Other Fuel System Fuel Gauge problems of the 1999 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

I have a 1999 Chevrolet silverado and my abs light and parking brake light has came on recently. The braking on my truck is not very good in wet conditions. I found that it is a common problem on chevy trucks, and I was told that I should just remove the fuse. I was told it has something to do with the wheel hub assembly, and it is a costly fix. I think for once Chevrolet should step up and put out a recall on this problem. There is also another common complaint about my dash cluster, which I had also found is a common problem, the odometer will go off and on when it feels like, and the gas gauge frequently goes up and down, and the fuel light comes on periodically. Fuel gauge is erratic. Often shows empty with low fuel light on right after fill up. Moving the vehicle will loosen it, and make it show proper fuel level. This causes me to fill up early, and often out of fear I may show incorrect fuel level.
