Air Brake problem #1

The abs sensor on both sides of my 2001 silverado went out, this causes your brakes to be soft and not stop at slow speeds. Although there is a recall on these vehicles, mine is not included. I had to pay 725 just to repair one side. Chevy knows these parts are defective and they wont do anything about it.

Air Brake Abs Warning Light problem #2

The contact owns a 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the wheel speed sensor and the abs sensor illuminated intermittently. The contact applied the brake pedal and the vehicle jerked forward as the brake pedal was applied. The failure occurred on numerous occasions. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,100.
