Brake light sensor constantly defective. Replace about 6 times. Transmission jerked all the time. Won't go into drive but will go into reverse. Makes a very loud clanking noises.
Vehicle stabilitrack and traction control lights came on. Engine warning light came on. While attempting to turn the vehicle onto a highway acceleration ramp, the car steering wheel locked and the engine died. Could not unlock the power steering. I was towing a horse trailer well within the gross weight for the vehicle. I had a horse in the trailer at the time. I also had children in the car. After a few minutes, I was able to start the vehicle and pull into a safer area. I was not able to tow the trailer home but I was able to get the vehicle home. The car hesitated and chugged along surging into each gear. While at a stop the vehicle hesitated and the engine sputtered. I had to put the truck in neutral and put my foot on the accelerator so the car engine would not die. The transmission would surge each time I stepped on the gas. Limited turning radius on the vehicle and I was not able to make a sharp turn without a grinding noise.
