The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Upon entering the vehicle the contact smelled a strong odor of gasoline. The contact took the vehicle to an authorized dealer on 28 occasions in which they did not diagnose the failure but recommended that he replace the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 6,000 and the current mileage was 21,847.

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated there was an overpowering gasoline odor from the interior of the vehicle as the vehicle was abnormally consuming fuel rapidly. The vehicle was taken to the dealer nine times. The vehicle was never repaired and the contact stated that the dealer would never inform him of his findings after examining the vehicle. The vehicle was taken to a local repair facility where he was advised that four of the cylinders had no compression. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure continued to recur.
