1 Driveshaft problem

When stopped at a light or sign, when you released the brakes it feels like someone hit the rear bumper. This is cause by the york at the rear of the transmission is sticking. Gm dealership will sand and lube the lube. This covers up the problem for a couple of months. If you want the problem fix it will cost you about $350. 00. The yoke is not cover by the drivetrain warrenty. Even though the yoke is the wrong one,because they will replace it with a nickle plated york and then the problem is solve. The york is the part that comes out of the transmission and hooks to the driveshaft. If the yoke grabs and breaks the rear of the tranny, the driveshaft will drop out and hit the ground. At high speed this could cause a fatal accident.

2 Driveshaft problem

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact indicated that while coming to a complete stop, the vehicle rolled forward independently. The failure recurred multiple times.
