Two problems related to recreational vehicle lpg tank valve/gauge have been reported for the 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. 4. 3l v6 wt 2012 chevy 1500 4wd vehicle drives fine, good temperatures and then without warning the vehicle shows a warning message that the engine is too hot and that the a/c was forced off by the trucks computer system and sends the temp gauge to 160 and will not move. Problem appears to be a manufacturer installed thermostat that if not dealt with immediately send the cooling fans and radiator fan(s)(as mine has a oem from the dealer auxillary transmission cooler at full speeds. The risk of this issue can cause damage to the truck and needs to be looked into as it can cause the fans and coolant to cause damage to the vehicles and also not let an accurate readout of engine temps to let them know of actual issues present. Code is code p01028 that gets stored but the issue is in the thermostats that the threshold for an engine that doesn't reach it's cutoff value shuts it down.
The dashboard cracking by the air bag and above the gauge cluster, if air bag comes out afraid for family for flying plastic pieces noticed one while getting in truck only has 49,000 miles on it air bag left forward corner been like that for year now noticed right side corner and the above the dash last weekend 5/20/17.
