Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet silverado 2500. The contact stated that while driving approximately 35 mph the both the front and rear driver and passenger side air bags erronsly deployed causing the driver to loose control of the steering and crash into a ditch. During incident the driver sustained a neck injury. No police report was taken. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer ���� who diagnosed that����. The vehicle was not yet repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The contact was informed that the vehicle was not included in the NHTSA campaign number ( ). The contact stated that the vehicle had experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 268,000. Jft.

Vehicle hit a tree in motion. Vehicle hit tree in center of grill. Side airbags deployed but front air bag did not. The only impact was to the front of truck and none to the sides. While on a dirt road driving at a slow speed, the side curtain airbags deployed. The vehicle did not hit anything and no other damage occurred. Gm sent a 3rd party to evaluate the vehicle and declared the warranty void since we had installed a 4" lift kit. Shouldn't they have to prove that the lift kit caused the deployment if that is their reason for denial? no where in the warranty information does it state installing a lift kit can cause the side air bags to deploy. No where on the information provided from the lift kit manufacturer does it state your warranty could be void if you install the kit. This isn't right. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
