The airbag module is not connecting to the rest of the modules. There is a recall on this module in other vins but not mine.
While vehicle is in motion the brake system will automatically start to lock up the brakes and then the stabilitrak light will light up on the dash. As well as if cruise control was set to whatever speed the brakes at some point will begin to slowly lock up causing cruise control to disengage and stabilitrak light will turn on. Relating NHTSA campaign 20v603000 gm's number for this recall is n202300860.
Hearing unusual powertrain winning , lugging on a hill to the point of shuttering before it downshifts, and then very harsh shift. Very harsh shift from first to second gears, and then again on downshift from second to first. Today 11/19/2020 I had the cruise control set at 70 mph, and once it started lugging down it downshifted and took off like the engine kept running wild. I tapped the brake pedal to cancel the cruse control, the brake pedal had no effect in canceling the cruse this vehicle just kept running wild. I even pushed the main cruise power button on the steering wheel foe what seemed like an eternity, still run as if it was possessed. After about 45 seconds, and just as I made up my mind that I had to kill the ignition switch, it calmed back down to the normal harsh shift, but didn't run wild. I also noticed that the engine rpm's gauge is not steady, and moves radically I have contacted my local dealer in the past with my concerns of a harsh shift issue, as well as the shuttering and luging down on the hills, and they assured me that they haven't had any issues with their transmission. These trucks need to be looked at very closely before someone has a catastrophic accident. I have an appointment on the 5 of December 2020, and you would think with the safety factor of my concerns, that they would try getting me in sooner, rather then put me off over two weeks.
