The contact owns a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The contact stated that the vehicle stall while stationary. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer win Chevrolet, inc. (2201 e 223rd st, carson, CA 90810, (877) 476-6172) where it was diagnosed with needing an unknown part to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired however, the failure recurred. The manufacturer was informed of the failure. The contact was referred to the dealer to have the vehicle repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 20,000.
Merging into 70 to 80 mph traffic on interstate i95 my truck stalled abruptly to 45 mph and at 3000 rpm would not shift out of the lower gear it went it. I had to merge quickly to the emergency lane with on coming traffic doing all they could to get around around me. Had to have the vehicle towed.
