Blind Spot Detection Problems of Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Truck went into limp mode. Would not shift. Stayed in one gear and would not back up. The truck basically downshifted from 8th to 2nd gear, causing me to lock up the brakes and almost lose control. Several warning lights on the dash. It's been at a transmission shop for over 3 weeks. They are having issues being able to get parts from gm. They are having problems fixing it. The blind spot lights will turn on for no reason. The lights opposite of the vehicle comes on. I've almost wrecked multiple times.

The following issues with my truck. 1. October 29-November 4. Rear crossing traffic not working. Front windshield camera not working, side detection now working. 2. 17 December adaptive cruise would accelerate when not in use. Side camera not available. Back up camera not in use, all dash related to the radio, phone and google not working. 3. 5 Feb 26 blind spot indicator, forward collision, and rear crossing traffic warning working. 4 with all this issues this vehicle is an accident in motion a safety hazard to me and any body around this vehicle GMC has had this vehicle 4 times and can not seem to get it repaired.

The blind spot warning has been a non stop issue with my truck. It frequently stops working and when it stops working the only indication is a short maybe 3 second message in the driver information center that goes away without the driver having to acknowledge it so it very easy to miss. Sometimes you see this when starting up the truck other times it might be working and then just stop working as you are driving down the highway.

The blind spot notification light on driver door mirror stays on while driving. . The engine sputters and makes noise while driving over 45 mph.

The component that recently failed on my 2020 chevy silverado is the side detection/blind spot warning. It no longer works and upon startup of my vehicle the notification on my dash shows “side detection temporarily unavailable”. This problem started 3 weeks ago. After doing research online, it seems that there is a common issue in Chevrolet vehicles with water getting into the rear sensors in the bumper. There were also several new model silverado’s with the same issue. As you can see, this is a safety issue as this feature all of a sudden stopped working on my truck so I no longer get warned if someone is in my blind pit while I am driving. I contacted my local Chevrolet dealership and they stated that because my vehicle is over 30,000 miles (36,000), I am no longer covered under warranty to have this issue repaired. My vehicle is scheduled to be looked at by the dealership on 6/27/22.

My truck is only a year old and one morning I was reversing out of driveway and back up camera stopped working.

~tl-the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet silverado. The contact stated that when he starts the vehicle the audible indicator lights do not work. This includes the indicator sound for when the vehicle is in reverse to warn of any possible collisions. The passenger side indicator sound if the seatbelt and door being ajar does not work. The vehicle was not covered by a recall. The manufacturer said the vehicle was not covered by a recall and transfered the contact back to the dealer. The vehicle was unrepaired parked at the contact;s home. The failure mileage was 65,000. Tf.

Anti-lock brakes do not work and have not worked though there's no recall for my VIN, parking assist has not worked, blind spot stopped working also.
