Warning Problems of Chevrolet Silverado 1500

I have a complaint about gm and my 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 ltz regarding the radio / infotainment system failure after attempting a recommended software update, and the resulting degradation of installed safety features. On 08 may 2026, my infotainment system indicated a software update was necessary, so I followed the directions to complete the update. When the update was complete, my infotainment screen said there was a failure and to take it to the dealership for repair. The entire infotainement system is inoperative. The soonest appointment I could make was for 18 may 2026. On 18 may 2026, I took my silverado into the dealership where I have it serviced to address the failure of my infotainment system. My service advisor informed me that I would need a new radio and that these radios are on a national backorder list. My advisor informed me that they have other customers who are experiencing the same issue and have been waiting for the replacement radio since January 2026. My advisor informs me that there is no estimated time of resolution. This defect inhibits safety features such as; use of onstar, google and apple maps that provide travel advisory hazards, parking camera views, vehicle systems status. Thank you.

Onstar telematics module went out and took away my way to call in a car problems and if stolen wont be able to find and the forward collision don't work my high beam turn on and off by themselves and don't have there wifi or severs without it or emergency button.

Truck will randomly throw codes for service 4wd and forward collision unavailable, rear cross traffic unavailable, lane departure will not work, auto high beams not work, and if parked position truck will not release park brake making truck unable to be moved. Truck has been in and out of certified dealer 3 times and problems still occurring at random. Dealer has stated they are not able to duplicate issues and can't do anything. Issues happening pose risk while driving when codes come on making all standard safety features not to work in event of a accident. Also making truck not mobile when park brake sets in event of accident.

Fuse junction box- fuses start getting loose causing signals and other electrical issues.

Cel flashing , traction control warning, stabilitrac warning, engine running rough, acceleration increased over normal driving. Happened multi times. After multiple restarts the cel light is on solid. Truck towed to dealer today. Have not heard back.
