Two problems related to brake disc rotor have been reported for the 2005 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Brake rotors were completely rusted and warped- vehicle with 10,500 miles and less than 3 years old.
Rear brake rotors rusted and pads only making 1/2" contact on inboard side of rotors on 2005 chevy Silverado 2500 hd with less than 11,000 miles. Gm fix is to turn rotors instead of replacing with rotors that don't rust this quickly.
