Randomly while driving, warning bells & lights flash, message in dic state service stabilitrak/traction control. Instrument cluster goes dead, a/c quits cooling & radio quits. If the vehicle is in motion it will continue to be drivable. As soon as you stop or are stopped when it occurs, the transmission stops working. The engine continues to run, and can be revved however the vehicle will not move. After turning off the ignition, opening the driver's door and waiting a couple of minutes, you can restart the engine, the gauges and transmission will once again operate. It has now started to periodically cause the driver side low beam headlight and driver's door lock to not function as well.

Tl the contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The contact stated that the electronic stability control indicator illuminated. The local dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 125,000.
