The contact owns a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 hd. The contact stated that four of the eight studs and lug nuts that held the tires and wheels were missing from the front passenger side. The manufacturer was contacted and informed him there are no recalls and he would have to pay for any repairs. The dealer was contacted by the manufacturer who informed the contact to bring the vehicle in for them to run a diagnostic test but at a cost to the contact. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 61,000.

The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 hd. While
driving the vehicle at a speed of 15 mph, the anti lock brakes engaged at a low speed. The contact had to constantly depress the
brake petal until the brakes engaged. The contact confirmed the failure would occur when traveling at low speeds. The contact indicated the vehicle was experiencing the same failures as escribed in NHTSA campaign id number: 07v228000 (wheels). The dealer advised his VIN was not included in the recall. The vehicle has not yet been repaired. The failure mileage was 32,000 and the current mileage was 35,000.

The right front wheel hub failed after I bought the truck in February 2005. The left front wheel hub failed in February of 2007 and now the left front wheel hub has failed again in November of 2009.
