We were traveling on I-465 or I-90 outside of indianapolis with our 2016 lance camper model 995 on our 2015 Silverado 3500hd. We stopped at a rest area on I-90 and found the awning and awning roller for the slideout on the camper had disappeared. I had been driving at or under the posted speed limits when this occurred. The mounts, both damaged, were all that were left. The camper side was also slightly cracked on one corner and bulged on the other. It could have been much worse. Lance has replied to my complaint stating it was not a warranty item any more so claimed they had no liability. My concern is that this should never have happened and I could have hurt someone. The awning is made by carefree of colorado for lance. I wanted to have this recorded because I have heard of anecdotal information of other slide awnings unfurling and/or coming off some campers.

The dashboard has cracked in two places. One crack is at the corner of the passenger air big and the other is above the instrument cluster. The cracks lead me to suspect the dashboard is either brittle or under stress. What will happen if the airbag deploys? will the dashboard disintegrate and cause injury to the vehicle occupants. There is no excuse for this bad dashboard given today's technology. My vehicle has never been in an accident so this should not be happening.

The dashboard is cracking in several places and I'm afraid that if the airbag is deployed it may send part of the dash into the passenger.

Dash has severely cracked. If air bag was to deploy, the hard plastic of the cracked dash could very likely injure occupants within the vehicle. While driving down smooth roadway, we started hearing cracking noises and found the dash cracking.

Takata recall my dashboard has cracked in three different spots 2 around passengers air bag one over gage cluster. Not sure if car was in motion or sitting when it happen.

Dashboard cracked in two places like many other 2007-2011 gm. Concerned of safety issue if airbags were to deploy. Plastic from dash could injure or possibly pierce airbag rendering it useless.

Dashboard is cracked on both sides near the airbag system. Safety concern should the airbag deploy causing shards of defective dash to act as projectiles injuring the occupants of the vehicle. This is a common problem with gm vehicles from 2007 to 2013. Vehicle was parked when crack was first observed.

Cracked dash above driver instrument cluster and around passenger airbag.

I am writing concerning receiver hitch failure on my 2006 chevy 2500 duramax diesel. I have been concerned about this hitches integrity since I purchased the vehicle due to the design. My worries have come to fruition with a near total failure of the oem hitch. I inspect this hitch before every tow and luckily noticed it bending. I have a friend who owns an identical truck who has experienced the same failure. Speaking for myself, I have never exceeded the tow rating on this hitch and have never been involved in a situation that caused undue stress. After researching on the internet, there have been numerous failures of this hitch design. Gm relies on two bolts running through the bumper for horizontal strength on this hitch. The problem is that the bumper brackets are not designed for horizontal strength and slip approx a half inch. This begins the failure of the hitch as the 2" round tube turns in the receiver brackets due to them being welded on only on side.
