Air Conditioner Problems of Chevrolet Spark

"takata recall" 2013 Spark Chevrolet needing coolant with normal driving. Refilled 3 times. Air condition tends to deminish when coolant low and at times quits blowing cool air completely. Mileage very low at 33,000 miles. Warning light does not indicate when coolant is low until coolant reservoir/tank is completely empty of fluid. Problem stared when vehicle had 25,000 or less miles. Also vehicle has no automatic door locks.

Air conditioning system not fixable by Chevrolet.

The contact owns a 2014 Chevrolet Spark. The contact stated that there was a strong odor of chemicals emitting from the vehicle. As a result, the contac would become sick and have headaches. The contact also stated that the air condition would not work properly and failed to emit cold air. In addition, the power steering failed. The failure recurred on multiple occasions. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where the failure for the steering could not be replicated, however stated that the evaporative air temperature (heat sensor) and the low pressure switch adaptor kit needed to be installed. In addition, the body control module needed to be reprogram and the a/c compressor needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the rpm's had to stay above 2200 in order for the air conditioning unit to work properly. The dealer stated that the manufacturer did not have a fix for the problem. The failure mileage was 3,500 and the current mileage was 5,600.
