One problem related to underbody shield has been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Metal right front inner fender shield has been rubbing against high pressure refrigerant line causing the line to fail, releasing all a/c refrigerant to the atmosphere. Air conditioner is now inop preventing proper operation of windshield defog.
