One problem related to equipment has been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While backing out of our driveway with our 32 foot travel trailer attached the vehicle hitch broke. I have approximately 45000 miles of towing the trailer on this hitch. It appears that the welds were not deep enough on the left side. I have replaced the hitch with the same part number at a Chevrolet dealership.
