Two problems related to carrier/rack have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The trailer hitch receiver developed a crack in the metal on the left side near the area where the bolts attach the receiver to the frame, Chevrolet replaced the part.
Hitch platform is cracked on both left and right sides.
