Two problems related to front seat belt retractor have been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
On three occasions driver's seat belt would lock up in retractor and leave occupant without any restraint. Dealer repaired the problem on three occasions, and problem kept reoccurring. Defective design flaw caused the belt not retracting properly.
Defective abs system causes the steering wheel to pull to the right during application. Yh the restraint tightens tighter and tighter until it becomes uncomfortable to the consumer, the seat-shoulder harness was replaced under warranty and the replacement is having the same problems.
