Three problems related to seats have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The circuit board under the drivers seat shorted out and caught on fire while the car was occupied.
The rivets on the driver seat are loose, the seat moves, and the noise is annoying. The entire track has to be replaced at the owners expense. The problem recurred after repair. The wiper blades were replaced.
The front seats were not centered correctly, they were positioned to the right of the center. Consumer was concerned if the air bags should deploy, the driver would not be protected. (the other vehicle is a Chevrolet tahoe 2002. VIN: 1gnek13zx2r241179).
