One problem related to underbody shield has been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The heat shield was defective. While driving, the engine compartment and underbody of vehicle became extremely hot. Which caused the shield to expand. The dealer installed a strap around the shield, however the problem still existed.
