Front Air Bag Sensor Control problems of the 2003 Chevrolet Suburban

Two problems related to front air bag sensor control have been reported for the 2003 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 09/30/2004

Airbag light came on and off. After 10,000 miles consumer took the vehicle to the dealer, and they were unable to repair vehicle. Currently, they were telling the consumer that they were going to replace the sensor and diagnostic module. The parts were on order. This problem occurred 3 weeks after the vehicle was purchased with 23,000 miles on it.

2 Front Air Bag Sensor Control problem

Failure Date: 07/14/2004

Consumer noticed a wire burning smell, and air bag indicator service light started flashing.
