The vehicle was taken to repair shop for the tires to be inspected. The mechanic stated the tires were not included in the recall. The contact stated he inspected the tires and noticed the tires were in the same dot range. The vehicle was taken back to the repair shop where the technicians stated the tires were included and noticed there was two gashes on the side wall of the rear driver's side tire. The technician stated one gash was approximately six inches long and the other was approximately four inches long. The tire was replaced with the spare tire. The contact had not experienced a failure. The approximate tire mileage was 13,500. The vehicles current mileage was 133,740.
